Dremly

Overview

Dremly is a dream journal for iOS and Android. The product belongs to Rulead. I work on it as a mobile engineer at Tersane Dijital, and I build and ship the mobile app.

The home screen is a conversation. You type your dream or say it into the microphone, and the interpretation appears in the same thread while it is being written. Everything else grows out of that one screen.

What the app does

• Voice or text: Tell the dream by typing, or tap the microphone and talk. Your words appear as you speak.
• Interpretation: Each dream gets an interpretation with a short summary under it.
• Dream image and video: After the interpretation, you can ask for an image or a short video of the dream. The app first asks a few questions about the scene and the movement, and you can add a reference photo.
• History: Every dream in order, grouped by month, with search and favorites.
• Summaries: Weekly, monthly and yearly summaries that show repeating symbols and feelings, with a calendar to jump to a given night.
• Birth chart: A birth chart and a daily reading of how the current sky touches it.
• Reminders: A morning reminder set around your wake-up time, an optional nap reminder, and a notification when a summary or a video is ready.
• Account and plans: Sign in with Google, Apple or email. Free credits to start, and Premium subscriptions after that. You can delete your account and your data from inside the app.
• Languages and themes: Nine languages, light and dark themes.
